Information About Wasps, Bees and Yellow Jackets   by Deanna Diaz

Most of us know that flying creatures like wasp and bees help us out by pollinating plants and flowers.

They alright to look at from a distance, but often they get just too close for comfort.

When they decide to invite themselves over for dinner and help themselves to the hot dog your eating, we loose appreciation for pollination really quick.

Stings from these flying pests can not only hurt, but even cause dangerous allergic reactions in some people. Because of the danger they can present, they are hot targets for pest control companies.

Here are a few interesting facts about these flying creatures that are around your home.

Bees are the least likely of the three to bother you. They are the best at pollination and would rather avoid you as much as possible. Once they sting you, they die, so its in their best interests to not sting you, unless they are dying to save their hive and protect their queen.

Yellow jacket are totally another story. They are the bullies of the winged world and have no problem stinging over and over again, sometimes it seems, just for fun. Wasps are also aggressive fliers that can sting over and over again.

If you have any of the three pests on your property, you should hire an exterminator to get rid of them for you.

The nests are very difficult to locate, and if you do find it, it could be dangerous trying to get rid of it. The last thing that you want to do is poke a stick into the ground and stab a nest, invoking the fury of stinging wasps or yellow jackets.

A professional exterminator can get rid of the problem for you and take the stings for you as well. Getting rid of them is relatively simple if you are a professional.
